THGAustralia x Crosley giveaway: terms and conditions
These terms govern the THGAustralia x Crosley giveaway of a limited edition Hunger Games Crosley Cruiser. For the prize and how to enter, see the giveaway article.
1. Promoter and prize supplier
1.1 The promoter is Bianca Nguyen, operating as THGAustralia.com, Melbourne VIC (the Promoter). Contact: [email protected].
1.2 The prize is supplied by iWorld Australia, ABN 33 120 921 557, the Australian distributor of Crosley (the Prize Supplier).
1.3 By entering, entrants accept these terms and conditions.
2. Promotion period
2.1 The promotion opens at 9:00am AEDT on Tuesday 13 October 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEDT on Tuesday 27 October 2026 (the Promotion Period). Entries received outside the Promotion Period will not be accepted.
2.2 If the prize stock is delayed in reaching the Prize Supplier's Australian warehouse, the Promoter may delay the opening date or extend the Promotion Period. Any change will be announced on THGAustralia.com and the Promoter's Instagram account.
3. Eligibility
3.1 Entry is open to Australian residents aged 13 or over with a delivery address in Australia. Entries from outside Australia, including New Zealand, are not eligible.
3.2 Entrants under 18 must have the permission of a parent or guardian to enter and accept the prize. The Promoter may ask for proof of that permission before awarding the prize.
3.3 The Promoter, contributors to THGAustralia.com, employees of the Prize Supplier, and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
4. How to enter
4.1 To enter, during the Promotion Period:
(a) follow @hungergamesau and @iworldonline on Instagram; and
(b) comment on the giveaway post with their favourite song from Panem so far (any song from a Hunger Games film or soundtrack), tagging at least one other Instagram user.
4.2 Each person may enter once. Extra comments do not earn extra entries. Entries made through multiple or fake accounts will be disqualified.
4.3 Comments must not be offensive, defamatory or unlawful. The Promoter may disqualify any entry it considers inappropriate.
4.4 Entrants allow the Promoter and the Prize Supplier to republish their entry on their websites and social channels, credited to the entrant's Instagram handle.
5. Draw
5.1 This is a game of chance. The winner will be drawn at random from all valid entries. Every song counts, and the song named has no bearing on the draw.
5.2 The draw will be conducted by the Promoter in Melbourne VIC at 12:00pm AEDT on Wednesday 28 October 2026, using a random number generator, after duplicate and ineligible entries have been removed. The Promoter will keep a record of the draw.
5.3 One winner and three reserve entries will be drawn, in that order. Reserve entries are used only if the prize cannot be awarded under clause 6.
5.4 The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
6. Winner notification and claiming
6.1 The winner will be notified by direct message from @HungerGamesAU by Friday 29 October 2026, and their Instagram handle will be announced on the Promoter's Instagram account.
6.2 To claim the prize, the winner must reply with their full name, Australian delivery address and phone number by 11:59pm AEDT on Tuesday 27 November 2026.
6.3 Before the prize is awarded, the Promoter will check that the winner follows both accounts named in clause 4.1, and may ask for a screenshot if the winner's account is private.
6.4 If the winner does not reply in time, is not eligible, or does not follow both accounts, the prize will be offered to the next reserve entry, who must claim it within 48 hours of being notified, under the same conditions. If no reserve entry claims the prize, the Promoter will hold a further random draw from the remaining valid entries.
6.5 The Promoter will only contact the winner from @hungergamesau and will never ask for payment, bank details or passwords. Messages from any other account claiming to be the Promoter should be ignored and reported.
7. Prize and delivery
7.1 There is one prize: a Crosley Cruiser Bluetooth Portable Turntable, Limited Edition Hunger Games (model CRIW8005F-HG), with the exclusive 7" vinyl included with the player, valued at $274.95 (RRP, including GST).
7.2 The prize will be shipped by the Prize Supplier to the winner's Australian delivery address within 1-2 business days of the Promoter confirming the winner's details. Once the prize is dispatched, delivery is the Prize Supplier's responsibility.
7.3 The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
7.4 If the prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside the Promoter's control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value, subject to any applicable law.
7.5 The prize is covered by the manufacturer's standard warranty. Warranty claims are handled by the Prize Supplier ([email protected], 03 9532 5052), not the Promoter.
8. Privacy
8.1 The Promoter collects entrants' Instagram handles and entries, and the winner's name, delivery address and phone number, only to run this promotion.
8.2 The winner's name, delivery address and phone number will be shared with the Prize Supplier for the sole purpose of delivering the prize.
8.3 Personal information will not be used for marketing or shared with anyone else without consent. Entrants can contact the Promoter at [email protected] to ask about or correct their information.
9. General
9.1 This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or Meta. Entrants release Instagram and Meta from any responsibility connected with the promotion.
9.2 The Hunger Games and Crosley names and marks belong to their respective owners.
9.3 The Promoter is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed or not received because of technical problems, including Instagram outages or comments hidden by Instagram's filters.
9.4 Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Otherwise, the Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the promotion or the prize.
9.5 The Promoter may amend, suspend or cancel the promotion if circumstances outside its control affect its fair operation, subject to any applicable law.
9.6 These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
