Sunrise on the Reaping is screening in IMAX in Australia from 19 November IMAX Melbourne has confirmed the film opens on the museum screen in IMAX. The aspect ratio, the thing Catching Fire fans actually care about, is still with IMAX Corp.

The Hunger Games: Survival Edition is real — and Australia is locked out of both versions
Scholastic UK and The Works have announced a retailer-exclusive leather-look paperback of the original novel, in stores from the week of 31 August. Target has the same book listed for 1 September in the US. Neither route reaches Australia, and the structure of the two deals is the reason why.

Why Cooper Hoffman isn't playing Plutarch in Sunrise on the Reaping
Francis Lawrence has addressed the casting a lot of people assumed was coming. The part needed someone who read considerably older — and it went to an actor who once played Philip Seymour Hoffman's son.

One film a night from 3 September, with a Sunrise on the Reaping sneak peek attached in the US. We're confirming whether Australian sessions get the footage.
