IMAX Melbourne has confirmed the film opens on the museum screen in IMAX. The aspect ratio, the thing Catching Fire fans actually care about, is still with IMAX Corp.

The Hunger Games: Survival Edition is real — and Australia is locked out of both versions
Scholastic UK and The Works have announced a retailer-exclusive leather-look paperback of the original novel, in stores from the week of 31 August. Target has the same book listed for 1 September in the US. Neither route reaches Australia, and the structure of the two deals is the reason why.
