HOYTS, Village and Event Reveal Their Sunrise on the Reaping Collectables
HOYTS has an exclusive districts tin, Village a pink tub on a bed of flowers, Event a Haymitch cup, and the flint striker key chain looks to be at all three. Village's are on pre-order now.
HOYTS, Village Cinemas and Event Cinemas have revealed their collectables for The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, and each chain has taken a different piece of the film.

HOYTS has the exclusive: a white popcorn tin with the district emblems stacked down one side and the film’s snake-and-mockingjay wreath on the front. Event has gone with a cup built around Haymitch Abernathy, which makes it the only piece in the set with Joseph Zada on it.
Village’s tub is the one people will be talking about. It’s pink, wrapped in the snake and the mockingjay, and it sits on a base of moulded flowers. To us it reads like the Second Quarter Quell arena, that meadow so pretty you forget everything in it wants you dead.

Village is the only chain selling online so far. The tub is $45, the matching pink tumbler $20 and the key chain $8, all on pre-order through Village’s merch store and shipping from 19 November. They went live on Wednesday morning, the same morning tickets went on sale.

The key chain is the gold flint striker, snake and bird curled into a ring, the same design as the necklace and pin that have been doing the rounds this month. It looks to be stocked at all three chains.

If you want one, pre-order. Village’s own store is the warning: its Practical Magic 2 tin and cup and its Cars 20th anniversary tub are already marked sold out. We haven’t seen prices for the HOYTS tin or the Event cup online yet, and we’ll add them when the chains post them.
Palace, Dendy and Reading haven’t shown anything yet. We expect more before release and we’ll update this story as each one lands.
