Zada and Grace Take the Sunrise Tour From Sydney to London, Berlin and Madrid
Joseph Zada and Mckenna Grace will take the Sunrise on the Reaping press tour from Sydney to London, Madrid, Berlin, Mexico, Los Angeles and New York, and three of those stops already have dates and venues attached.
The city list was first reported by The Daily Telegraph and repeated by The Sydney Morning Herald on Thursday. Below is everything public for each stop, labelled by how solid it is. We’ll add Mexico, LA and New York as they’re confirmed.
Sydney went first
The international leg opened here on Wednesday 14 October. Zada and Grace did a harbourside photo call with the Opera House behind them, then fronted the tour’s first fan event that night at The Eveleigh at The Grounds of Alexandria, hosted by Joel Creasey, with a live Q&A and an aerial performance (BroadwayWorld). The Grounds also hosted Roadshow’s Sunrise garden back in April.

Outside, some fans had been waiting at the South Eveleigh precinct for nine hours, one of them up from Cairns. The pair spent about 20 minutes signing on the roadside before being taken inside, the Herald reports.
“It’s so amazing to see an Aussie in such a big franchise.”
Leah Sedgley, 18, to The Sydney Morning Herald
According to the Herald, it’s the first time the franchise has sent its stars to Australia to promote a film. Sydney-born Zada plays 16-year-old Haymitch. Grace plays Maysilee Donner, the District 12 tribute Catching Fire readers know as Madge Undersee’s aunt, and the girl who wore the mockingjay pin into the 50th Games.
London: Wednesday 28 October
A fan screening with a red carpet is listed for Westfield London on 28 October by Premiere Scene, the premiere-tracking calendar. The listing names Zada, Grace, Whitney Peak, Jesse Plemons, Glenn Close, Kieran Culkin and Elle Fanning, plus director Francis Lawrence and producer Nina Jacobson.
Status: listed, not yet announced by Lionsgate UK. No cinema, start time or ticketing has been published, and we couldn’t find a public sign-up.
Berlin: Monday 2 November
Zoo Palast hosts a “Red Carpet Special Event Screening” on 2 November, confirmed through prize promotions run by Austrian radio station Ö3 and Heute with Cineplexx. Ö3 lists Zada, Grace, Peak, Glenn Close, Lawrence and Jacobson as expected.
The run of show, via Panem Propaganda: red carpet from 6pm, talent arrivals at 6.30pm, a stage presentation and Q&A at 7.30pm, then the screening at 7.40pm. Barricade spots are first come, first served.
For anyone following from here, the carpet opens at 4am AEDT on Tuesday 3 November and the Q&A starts around 5.30am.
Madrid: Thursday 5 November
Zada and Grace will attend a 7pm event at Kinépolis Ciudad de la Imagen (IMAX), with Spanish distributor Diamond Films giving away five double passes, Panem Propaganda reports. Spanish YA community Somos Infinitos is running a matching five-double-pass competition.
Status: reported, but we haven’t seen Diamond Films’ own post. In Australia that’s 5am AEDT on Friday 6 November.
Mexico, Los Angeles and New York
Nothing has been announced for Mexico or Los Angeles. The reports say “Mexico” rather than naming a city.
New York has a date. A now-closed Charitybuzz auction lot offered tickets to the film’s world premiere in New York City on 16 November, listing Jennifer Lawrence, Ralph Fiennes, Elle Fanning, Glenn Close, Kieran Culkin, Grace and Zada among the expected attendees.
Status: Lionsgate hasn’t announced the premiere or its line-up. A hospitality reseller puts it at Alice Tully Hall at 7.30pm ET, which would be 11.30am AEDT on Tuesday 17 November. Treat the venue as unconfirmed.
Before Sydney
Two earlier appearances aren’t on the Telegraph’s list. Zada and Grace attended the opening of the “Elegance Is Authority” costume exhibition at the Musée Rodin in Paris on 6 October (The Hollywood Reporter Australia). On 9 October they surprised fans at the film’s New York Comic Con installation alongside Peak, Ben Wang and Iris Apatow (Cinemascomics).
Sydney is the first stop of the international fan-event leg, which is how Roadshow and Lionsgate have billed it.
Back home
The first Australian public sessions are Event Cinemas’ Chicks Pick advance screenings on 18 November, the day before general release. IMAX sessions start on 19 November, and the film hub has cast, stills and trailers.
Victors owe the Capitol a Victory Tour after the Games. Zada is doing his before them.
The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping is directed by Francis Lawrence and stars Joseph Zada, Whitney Peak, Mckenna Grace, Elle Fanning, Jesse Plemons and Ralph Fiennes. It opens in Australian cinemas 19 November 2026, a day ahead of the US.
